Hello, beautiful beings. Welcome back to Leadership by Design Podcast. I am your host, Karina Polonia Tripp, and today I want to ask you a question. Is sacral response always about following your bliss, your joy, your spark? Is your full body yes your true guidance? Let's untangle one of the biggest myths in human design space. And I just want to add that if you are listening and you are not a generator or manifesting generator, this episode is also going to be so useful to you because if you want it or not, you are in the world of builders and certain things in business we need to build. So maybe you approach building something in a way that it's actually amplification of the distortion created by the sacral frequency in this world. I've heard so many times that sacral is about pleasure and also boundaries. And I can definitely agree that sacral is about boundaries because it's the boundary for what you have energy for and what you don't have energy for at the very moment. It's all about saying yes or no, and this is a very clear boundary, right? Yes, no. That's it. Now, in regards to pleasure, I think there is a lot of misconception for builders. So human design generators and manifesting generators are called builders. Pure generators are builders, and manifesting generators are called express builders. And here I just want to say this is the business aspect of human design, and I repeat myself because this is the context I'm coming from, and I need to fix some of the misinformation that I see in online spaces because human design in its original form is for spiritual awakening. Business is a completely different context with different rules. You cannot just translate spiritual language and personal awakening principles into business. And yes, there will be overlap because the more, of course, deconditioned you are, the more you can connect to your body and your decision making. And this is already what you need to do with human design. And you if you follow that, you are set for exactly what you are meant to be doing in this life. But when we use this language into business strategies that comes more from, you know, the mind kind of realm, that's a different story. Because running a business, making money, maintaining solid relationships, being in group dynamics, those are not the same as personal awakening. And I want to bring in something I see a lot in education online. Many people teaching human design for business when they teach about sacral in the idea of pleasure, right? Probably you've heard it. Follow your joy, follow your spark, follow your excitement, follow your yes. And it's always this juicy, pleasurable thing that supposedly means you found your true sacral response. But this comes from again mixing spiritual human design language with certain aspects of response. The sacral, the sacral center has many different kinds of responses. One of them is Gate 59, which is all about pleasure, creativity, mating, and building. It's about that juiciness, that true creation energy that can make even babies, because in the end it's the channel of mating, it's where the babies are made. But that's just one part of the sacral response. There are many, many others which I am not going into fully here. I'm not going to name all the gates, it's not a place for it. I just want to make a point. This pleasure aspect is just one flavor. Some people don't have that activation at all. Their response might come through pushing through limitations or through periods of melancholy and depression before a sudden burst of order appears. There are many ways, the sacral response and reducing it to one idea is dangerous. And when I was talking about those limitations and depression and this melancholy and creating order out of limitation, and that's the way how this these builder built, this one comes from channel 360. It's channel of mutation. But there is a nuance in the sacral gate 3 making order out of chaos. But to do that, to connect that with that pressure, there is a lot of feeling of stuckness. And I am a manifestor, an initiator in BG5 language with a completely open sacral center. And this is an energy function in BG5 language. And I have no gates activated in this function, so I can feel very different ways of sacral responses, like how it tastes, its frequencies. And that's actually the gift of a completely open center. I can become this objective and not biased toward one type of response. And that doesn't mean that your response needs to feel bad. But it can feel bad sometimes. Define what feels bad. And you know, here is where people get really confused. It's not about whether you like doing the thing, it's about whether you have energy for it. Your sacral doesn't have awareness, it's just a motor. It doesn't have feelings, and sometimes your sacral will say yes to something your mind finds boring, repetitive, or sometimes even annoying. But still, that thing can bring you satisfaction in the end. For example, if you have the 5-15 channel of rhythm, repetition and flow are how you build. And you can move through extremes and still find your rhythm. And this is why I push back against the scookie-cutter pop human design teaching. Because it's so hard to produce general advice that's just say, hey, sacral types, do this and this. Sorry for being so dramatic. Yes, the career type, your aura type, it's so important, but there are so many other layers. How your sacral is connected. Is it connected to expression? So to your throat, to pressure, so to the root center, to emotions, to your instinct. This whole shebang, right? Business building doesn't always feel pleasurable, and I guess so many people were burned with 9 to 5 soulless work that now the idea of effort and push makes them wanna barve. So they go into those extremes now, and anything that resembles work, I don't do work. I work two hours per week is immediately not attractive to people if they have to put more hours. And you know, sacral response is more about boundaries than anything else. Boundaries with others, boundaries with yourself, and the most important energetic boundaries. That's why in BG5 language we call this center energy resource. Not a pleasure resource, actually an emotional center, solar plexus center, so emotional intelligence in BG5 has the theme of pleasure. If you are a pure sacral generator or manifesting generator, so you have no emotional definition, and you base your response purely on pleasure, you might actually be running on emotional conditioning from others. And that can block you from doing the things your energy is truly ready for. And building is not always pleasurable, but it can be deeply satisfying, and the satisfaction is the real reward for you. Pleasure, in my opinion, is a bonus. Pleasure comes from this deep feeling of satisfaction, and sometimes it comes after you build the thing, and depending on your configuration, those connect with your pleasure to manifest approaches. And again, I'm not saying that that's wrong. I think there are so many beautiful people who do this work amazingly, but I just want to make a dramatic point here. So those approaches might work for you or they might block you, depending on your design. You need to filter everything through your own design and see if it's the thing that truly supports your business.
